Vet Valet's Team Approach

Providing the highest possible experience takes a team!
Providing the highest possible experience takes a team!

Finding people that make you feel comfortable is an important factor in the decision making process for In Home Euthanasia. Naturally, the experience is intense, intimate, emotional, and will likely live on in the memory of those who are experiencing the loss of a cherished companion.

Those who choose to help pets and families during such a difficult time has an individual style, and will provide a unique experience beginning with your initial call. Having options is a great benefit to those in need, as pet owners can choose a care provider that best fits their needs. It is important to know that while our personalities and styles will vary, we all share the same goal - a dignified, peaceful, humane passing for pets and comfort for their families throughout the process.

Our approach developed very quickly after Dr. Valerie began providing In Home Euthanasia services. I would often drive her to appointments when it was clear she would need help, particularly for larger pets that she would be unable to gently carry herself. I soon began joining and helping her during most appointments. I was able to help answer non-medical questions and quickly work through required paperwork as she performed examinations and developed treatment plans - focusing on her patient. We quickly found that working as a team creates the best possible experience for families, pets, and ourselves.

First, we have always felt it is important that we are there when help is needed. It would be difficult for us to be available 24/7 as individuals. As a team, we are able to ensure that we are there to provide any help that is needed, at the time it is needed.

Next, as a team we are able to ensure that during our appointment, your focus can be dedicated to your pet. We are able to administer any necessary injections, with gentle restraint, if necessary, and move your pet with respect and care, allowing pet families to be fully present with their throughout the process.

Finally, as a team we are able to provide attention to both families and pets. Answering questions, describing the process, and ensuring your pet's comfort, are all addressed with our full focus and attention. As a team we feel we are able to provide both you and your pet with a higher level of comfort, care, and attention, while maintaining complete focus on the most important thing - the total comfort of your pet.

If you feel that we can help you in any way, from a QOL conversation to scheduling an appointment, please contact us any time.

-Will
