Valerie Reynolds

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Info@petvetvalet.com

Hello, my name is Dr. Valerie Reynolds, I am the veterinarian and dedicated co-founder of Vet Valet

Growing up in Spokane, WA, my passion for animals was evident from a young age. My journey took a unique path as I pursued a career as a professional snowboarder, which led me to the mountains of Colorado. After traveling the world, competing with olympians, and having too many injuries, I knew it was time to follow my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.

I graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in Biology then gained invaluable experience working at a 24/7 ER Specialty clinic  further igniting my passion for veterinary medicine. In 2017, I began my post-graduate education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed my clinical rotation at CSU College Of Veterinary Medicine in Fort Collins.

I began my veterinary career in New York at a 24/7 ER clinic before returning to Colorado where I worked as a relief veterinarian for many hospitals and clinics where in 2023, I discovered a unique interest in end-of-life care.

I am excited to serve the Inland Northwest,  providing the support and care that is so crucial during difficult times.

Outside of Vet Valet and clinic relief, I enjoy an array of activities, including wake-surfing, ping pong, golfing, corn-hole, and camping with Will. We share our home with Maine, our rescue dog from Colorado, our dumpster cat, Shrimp, and our most recent cat rescue, T. Billy.

Will is a business and music major, animal advocate, and is certified as both a Fear Free Veterinary Professional and Pet Loss Grief Coach.

I have always loved animals and pets are an important part of my life. The opportunity to serve, support, and comfort pets and their families has aligned naturally with many of the values important to me.

In my free time, I enjoy camping, playing guitar, reading, meditating, and engaging in "friendly" ping-pong matches with Valerie. Grilling and fishing also bring me joy, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and creativity.
