About Our
Vet Valet  Veterinarian and Staff

Vet Valet was opened after having our own cat euthanized at an animal ER. It was Dr. Valerie's first experience making the decision to euthanize her own pet and during her grieving process, she and Will realized that together they could provide a more intimate and peaceful passing for animals in the future.

Working as a veterinarian, Dr. Valerie sees first hand the stress that clinics and ERs can add to an already difficult situation. A cold and sterile setting can add to your pet's anxiety, and add to a feeling of loss and separation, lowering the possibility of a meaningful farewell for your loved one. Will's love for animals, his experience in business, service, and grief coaching, came together with Valerie's talents, empathy, and drive to help in a time of great need.

Their mission became clear—to provide a comfortable, peaceful end-of-life experience for pets and their families, all within the familiar surroundings of home.

Dr. Valerie, CMO Vet Valet, Inland NW (Northwest), Greater Spokane Area.

Hello, my name is Dr. Valerie Reynolds, I am the veterinarian and dedicated co-founder of Vet Valet

Growing up in Spokane, WA, my passion for animals was evident from a young age. My journey took a unique path as I pursued a career as a professional snowboarder, which led me to the mountains of Colorado. After traveling the world, competing with olympians, and having too many injuries, I knew it was time to follow my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.

I graduated from CU Boulder with a degree in Biology then gained invaluable experience working at a 24/7 ER Specialty clinic  further igniting my passion for veterinary medicine. In 2017, I began my post-graduate education at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed my clinical rotation at CSU College Of Veterinary Medicine in Fort Collins.

I began my veterinary career in New York at a 24/7 ER clinic before returning to Colorado where I worked as a relief veterinarian for many hospitals and clinics where in 2023, I discovered a unique interest in end-of-life care.

I am excited to serve the Inland Northwest,  providing the support and care that is so crucial during difficult times.

Outside of Vet Valet and clinic relief, I enjoy an array of activities, including wake-surfing, ping pong, golfing, corn-hole, and camping with Will. We share our home with Maine, our rescue dog from Colorado, our dumpster cat, Shrimp, and our most recent cat rescue, T. Billy.

Will is a business and music major, animal advocate, and certified Pet Loss Grief Coach. With a lifelong passion for music, I find solace in playing the guitar. I have always loved animals, though I never imagined a career in the veterinary field, or in home pet euthanasia until life led me on this unexpected yet fulfilling path with Vet Valet.

In the past I have owned and operated several small businesses, including flooring, woodworking, and environmental services. Today, I contribute to our clinic by helping families through difficult situations with calmness and care. My background in business keeps everything organized and running smoothly, while my communication skills offer comfort and clarity during emotional moments.

In my free time, I enjoy camping, playing guitar, reading, meditating, and engaging in "friendly" ping-pong matches with Valerie. Grilling and fishing also bring me joy, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and creativity.

I am eager to deepen my impact by expanding my knowledge in pet loss and the grief process. By doing so, I hope to further support the families we work with, helping them find peace in difficult times.
